This group will use a common text book, Mathematics: The Core Course for A Level by L. Bostock and S. Chandler ISBN 0-85950-306-2. ABE U.K. has second-hand copies for a few pounds. We will use simple Algebra to understand what the calculus is and do many examples as this will ensure that the features of calculus are understood.
