This group will use a common textbook, ‘Mathematics: The Core Course for A’ Level’, by L Bostock and S Chandler. ISBN 0-85950-306-2. ABE UK has second-hand copies for a few pounds. We will use simple Algebra to understand what the calculus is. We will do many examples as this will ensure that the features of calculus are understood.
