Latin: Reading Latin 1 Beginners

Class Details

Total beginners are welcome to this class as well as those who may have tried Latin before. We use the 2nd edition of Reading Latin published by Cambridge University Press. It will help mature beginners to read classical Latin fluently. It integrates the learning of classical Latin with an appreciation of the influence of the Latin language upon English and European culture. The grammar and exercises volume completes the course, supplying any help needed. I can provide course materials while you decide whether this is the right approach for you (also see LATIN: Reading Latin 2).
