Why not spend an hour each week with Chaucer’s Fourteenth Century pilgrims?  It would not be a very different experience from joining a company of our own contemporaries making their way to a holiday resort.  You will pass the time hearing an amazing variety of stories, told by a very mixed group of people whose concerns are surprisingly similar to our own.
