
Members of Art Appreciation C, Secular and Mythological Art at the National Gallery, and congratulations to Jelena Jovanovic, who has been a member of U3A for a very long time, attended our art classes and now has had an exhibition in Hampstead.

The Monday Talk
On 9th December at 10.30am in Room 2.21 (and Zoom) Richard Cohen explores famous graveyards in London. In London’s Cities of the Dead he takes us on a virtual tour through some of the acres dedicated to those no longer living.

URGENT CLASS ANNOUCEMENT
Franca Cerudi will be telling us about Italian Christmas dinners on Monday 9th at 12.50 – 13.50 in Room 1.26 (or if the class is popular, in room 1.22, as there is no Film 1 on Monday this week).
This is a harbinger of her new Italian Food Class, starting next term (see below).

Can accommodate upto 48 players in both Room 1.29 Art room) & 1.24. Beginners will have access to bidding supervision if needed. Tea, coffee & hot chocolate available together with biscuits although contributions to the biscuits kitty will improve the quality & quantity of biscuits. Heaters will also be provided if needed.
NEW CLASSES STARTING IN JANUARY

At 12.50 – 13.50 on Monday (room to be confirmed) – an Italian Food Class, explaining the most important and common Italian foods, adding some stories about them and the traditions of the regions where they are usually used. Italy has a lot of particular foods, from pasta prepared in different ways to rice, pizza and cakes, for example.

Tired of wonky horizons and dull photos? Improve your photo editing skills by learning how to use Adobe’s photo editing software Lightroom and Photoshop, including having fun with their new AI tools. To take part in the class you will need to have your own copy of Lightroom and Photoshop software installed on your laptop.
