The final day for receiving your ballot is Wednesday 11 March. Proxy votes need to be in by then as well.

A Second Walking Group – repeated

We are pleased to tell you that a new member, Rachel Tyndall has offered to lead a walk on Wednesdays.  Rachel says: This is an opportunity to walk the 78 mile Capital Ring this summer, starting on 8th March. It is divided into 15 sections and I plan to do one section each Wednesday.  The proposal is to meet at the start of each walk, always at a tube/DLR/rail station, at 1pm on a Wednesday and have time at the end for a cup of tea.  The first section is from Woolwich to Falconwood and walking 7.2 miles. You may have noticed that the two walks in the programme cover similar ground – but don’t let that put you off!

To make you smile!

From Susan van Noorden

When I get a headache I take two aspirin and keep away from children just like the bottle says.
Just once, I want the prompt for username and password to say, “Close enough.”
If you see me talking to myself, don’t worry. I’m self-employed. We’re having a meeting.

The ability to speak several languages is an asset, but the ability to keep your mouth shut in any language is priceless.
Be decisive. Right or wrong, make a decision. The road is paved with flat squirrels who couldn’t make a decision.

“Your call is very important to us.  Please enjoy this 40-minute flute solo”.
Does anyone else have a plastic bag full of plastic bags, or is it just me?

Today’s 3-year-olds can switch on laptops and open their favourite programmes. When I was 3, I ate mud.

It’s Men’s Month

Best wishes from the team
